Last updated: August 1, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website apcaa.org and the accreditation and certification services offered by the American Professional Certification Accreditation Association (“APCAA,” “we,” “us”). By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms to submit an application or use our services. Organizations applying for accreditation must have authority to bind the organization.
2. Use of the Website
- You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the operation of the site, or use the site in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and marks, is the property of APCAA or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
3. Accreditation and Certification Applications
- Submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation or certification.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and truthful information. Misrepresentation may result in denial, suspension, or revocation of accreditation or certification.
- APCAA may verify information provided, including contacting references and reviewing submitted documentation.
- Fees, where applicable, are disclosed at the time of application and are generally non-refundable.
4. Use of APCAA Marks and Designations
Accredited institutions and certified individuals may use the corresponding APCAA marks and designations only while their status is active and in good standing, and only in accordance with our branding guidelines. Marks may not be used in a manner that implies endorsement beyond the scope of the accreditation or certification granted.
5. Certification Verification
APCAA provides a certificate verification service to allow third parties to confirm the status of accredited institutions and certified individuals. Verification results reflect APCAA records as of the time of the lookup.
6. Disclaimers
